Yeah they just need to target adults. Action cartoons for kids are still dead.
I think kids would watch them, networks just don't like to do them.
And TC, you should check out The Legend of Vox Machina. It's fantasy instead of superheroes (based on a D&D campaign), but it's got the vibe I think you're talking about.
