Based on one of the greatest tv show theme songs ever. The Greatest American Hero. Loved that show as a kid but damn its pretty cheesy catching reruns. The special effects used for flying are atrocious lol. I was pretty young in 1981 when the show started so I wasnt critical. But all these years later, yeah.

It actually originated in a Palmolive commercial where Madge the Manicurist soaked her clients hands in Palmolive dishwashing liquid to soften them.
Soft hands mean a sheltered life, you never did any hard work. In response to the question, have you ever killed a man, it implies that Kramer has led a hard life and is likely to have killed someone, without him coming out and saying it.

So was I, I had to look it up to remember, but yeah, I just watched the scene where he tried flying for the first time, and a little kid gave him advice, and I flashed back in seeing that as a little kid, and the cringe of it turning me off the show.
