Are you guys saying you are in favor of having sex with the undead?
Are you guys saying you are in favor of having sex with the undead? If it's wrong to do it with the dead, it logically follows it's right to do it with the un dead. They're opposites!
Not in the first movie.
I'm not going to be the one to Google, "How many states require a pulse for consent?"
this is more like queerbaiting than actual censorship
it was fine for rayWell, Ray (if he was around the same age as Aykroyd) was 32. McKenna Grace was 17 when this was filmed (and looked a lot younger).

They want the preformitive progressive points while having enough deniability to sell their films to a foreign market.

It's partly the same reason they didn't make any references to America Chavez being a lesbian in Multiverse of Madness , because Xochitl Gomez was only 14 when they filmed it.

Queer content is not adult content FFS.You can't possibly not realize that having a gay teenager in a mass-market film is an invitation to that film being ripped to shreds by right-wing media, because something something it's bad for the children.

What about marvel censoring the Tessa Thompson lesbian scene
Okay, Disney, why is it bad for a 14-year-old to be a lesbian? I know they've had gay kids in Owl House.Personally, I don't think it's bad. But as I stated above, they know that Fox News and the right wing will screech about it, and that will cost them money, and they can't have that.
A boy and a girl can hold hands, share a quick kiss, or express their feelings for one another and nobody accuses the filmmakers of any wrongdoing. But if a character is homosexual, that's homo SEXUALITY -- which is inherently more sexual than heterosexuality. For some reason.

Of course when you ask a conservative whose trying to ban any book with LGBT characters that simple question. They have no answer. It should be no different if a heterosexual couple kiss and a gay couple and yet to countless people they think ones okay and the other is unsuitable for kids.

Okay, Disney, why is it bad for a 14-year-old to be a lesbian? I know they've had gay kids in Owl House. To be fair, they did drop Owl House, saying that it didn't fit for the Disney brand. Shame, because it was a fantastic show. I hope stuff like this stops as younger generations start take over these companies.
Sorry. I wasn't attacking you. When I said "Okay, Disney" I was trying to make it clear that my problem was with them. I know you weren't taking that stance.NP, I didn't think you were. Just observing that it's almost always about the money. A corollary to that is "Never ascribe to malice what can be explained by incompetence." ^_^

Banging ghosts is pretty tabooOnly if you're human, apparently it's fine if it's a ghost and a horse.
Ghosts aren't the same as the undead.
What"Undead" typically means things like vampires or zombies, which still have physical bodies.

And how do you have sex with something that has no physical representation? If ghosts are some kind of energy, then that could conceivably... interact with a human body's bioelectric nervous system. ;)

really hamfisted feminism woke movie,I think that's a Bingo.
I thought it was pretty easy to tell that Zia was gay in JW. Especially with the "almost kiss after saving my life" scene. I wonder if that's where these lines were cut from?
she was a good character though, I hope they bring her back in later movies.
Disney sort of wants it both ways with some of their shows. It's why the creator of Gravity Falls had to repeatedly insist that the two cops were just really, really, really good friends that shared their lives with each other when making the show, even as Disney later advertised the characters as being LGBTQ friendly.
Are you guys saying you are in favor of having sex with the undead?
Imagine thinking that people of the same sex can't be friends. No they HAVE to be gay!If you watch the movie it's obvious they are totally gay.
Meanwhile, with The Owl House the show was dropped mostly by one executive under the pretext of wanting thought-free episodic content. It's weird because the first season has an amazing ramp up from episode to episode, to the point that even some random executive SHOULD be able to sense the building excitement over the show. And that pretext is bogus. Luz (Owl House spoilers)
I like Redlettermedia's term for it: "Passive progressive".
