How is that even against the TOS? What he did isn't even anyone's business. Whether anyone acknowledges prior offenses or not shouldn't be grounds for a purgatory sentence, especially since mentioning old moderations is risky in itself. What matters is that they don't repeat the same offense. That moderation was unjust.

It was 100% fair and it's a shame they didn't catch a ban this time.

If that was the case, then I agree with you. I'm sure many of us didn't know what his previous moderation was, which is why it looked liked he was sent to purgatory for a benign post. Thanks for clarifying things.
