My old man advice mirrors Lt Dans, but take care of your feet. Spend money on good insoles every few months and spend the extra money on premium socks.100% this. I work at Walmart, so I'm basically on my feet for 9 hours at a time, averaging 15K-16K steps per night. I get Thor-Lo Tennis socks, that are heavily padded in the sole. Like walking on a cloud.
