Wishing you the best on your intermittent fasting journey! I also practice it, as I really enjoy eating. Postponing when I eat helps me manage my intake. However, its important to remember that many studies suggest the weight loss from intermittent fasting may not be due to delaying food consumption. Because of that I let me self have a nibble here and there some times. Note I am not suggesting you should do this in your personal journey. Do what works well for you.
Roses I know use to have shirts and tie in box for ten dollars. Yesterday I got 2 shirts and 2 shorts for 18 dollars. Cheaper than Goodwill and the Thrift store. Richer people have pushed the prices of stuff up at thrift stores like made. Like they did with tiny houses and the chicken.sounds awesome, but unfortunately it looks like there are no Roses in my state. oh well.
Ive been consistently within the 196-200 pound range lately. Its challenging to admit, but my family dynamics have been impacting my weight loss journey. My sister is currently going through a tough period, and as a result, shes practically moved in with me. Additionally, my parents visit every Wednesday-Sunday due to it. I want to clarify that Im not bothered by their presence; my home Casa CJ is always welcoming to them whenever they need it. However, this has inadvertently caused my weight loss efforts to stall. Moreover, my mom suggests that I should stop focusing on losing weight and questions the necessity of my twice-daily workouts. With all the serious issues my family is facing at the moment, Im at a crossroads and unsure about the next steps for my health goals.i can relate with family issues getting in the way of your personal goals, not just health and fitness goals, but in general. i'll just say that it can be very stressful and irritating sometimes being a single man in his late 30s who still lives with his parents and doesn't have much of a social life. my best advice is to just ignore what they think and focus on doing what you believe is best for you. and be firm with setting boundaries.
held steady at 198.2 this morning, yay!
Great job. Keep it up.thanks! actually just had to pee some more and checked again, went down to 197.8.

LOL I was about to tell you go pooh to lose more pounds. And then I deleted it. I am happy I am on topic with people I think about pooh weight in healthy way.lol well actually, that's what i already do literally every time. i try to have the same conditions every time i weigh myself, so it's almost always in the morning around 8-8:30, after i've had my cup of coffee and haven't eaten or drank anything else, and directly after moving my bowels. try to have the same or similar clothing on as well, usually a t-shirt and either mesh shorts or joggers depending on the weather.

Why not wear nothing?cuz i don't really feel like bothering with taking off all my clothes just to weigh myself and put them back on again lol. and as long as you are consistent with the conditions in which you weigh yourself, i don't think it makes much difference.

i would say eating healthy isn't just about a number on a scale, and even if that number has been stalling, there are many many other reasons to eat healthy, and overall continuing to eat healthy regardless of if your weight loss is going like you want it to go or not will have numerous positives effects on your health. and going back to eating like shit will, well, in all likelihood make you feel like shit. so i think you should keep it up.
Keep exercising and eating well, and don't give up!

In the 180s. I have to see my doctor on Monday. Before that I am going to my gym and getting a print out for the I body scale.
Probably my worst/shortest night of training but this felt good to see after a 6 mile ride.

I just finished a 4 mile run . Only going to do a longer run on the weekend now.
I am guessing for most people on the CE that is a long run.Sure, but I will be doing a half marathon this year. So my weekend runs are 6 miles now, but will be double digits by late summer

i want to get a body composition scan. what do you have to do to get one of those? do you go through your primary care physician, or are there special facilities you have to go to for it, or what?
Cool beans. If my foot holds up. It is now. I want to do one in November. I did one mile yesterday . Good luck.I hope your foot does hold out, as getting into running can do so much, physically and mentally.

You want to go for a half? Ambitious, but doable, if just starting now
Back in my younger days (2017) I did a half with no Training. LOL. And I beat on person, she was like a 70 year old lady. I kept up just behind her until the Finish line came into view and I rushed passed her at the very end . ( that sounds horrible when I type it out)Shame
