Man, fuck that.I agree with you. I don't like that the series took the MMO twist that it did. I haven't played the game itself, but it answered questions brought up in KOTOR, which is something. Still would have preferred similar stories in the KOTOR style of course.
"This series is suddenly an MMO" was the early 2000's "We decided to make the new release a GaaS."
Call of DutyHa! That got a laugh out of me. Thanks.
Eternal DarknessThis
Super Mario Galaxy 2
Mercenaries 2: World in Flames
Prey 2017
It got a book and the SWTOR which deals with the overarching antagonist that was behind the KOTOR games (Vitiate). Would have preferred something more in KOTOR's style, but it's something I guess.
Regardless of content that's not exactly the same type of game. I wouldn't play it and don't consider it part of KOTOR.That's fair I guess. I feel the same way about Zelda and the Ubisoft open world shift with BOTW onward.
Im assuming you mean Star Force 4 or Legends 3. If not, then Ive got news for youProbably means that Star Force 3 is the game that never got its sequel.
Jet Force Gemini
Radiant HistoriaNo. Game was perfect as is. In fact when they added a pseudo sequel dlc in perfect chronology all they did was ruin the game.
Okami
Probably means that Star Force 3 is the game that never got its sequel.Yea it was 4 my bad. I can't believe I missed zxc, another one right there. Zxa just stays in a cliffhanger :(
Yeah, several of the MM series had sequels in development since their most recent installment, that got cancelled. There was Legends 3, of course. Star Force 4, ZXC, and (more like a reboot or spinoff but) Maverick Hunter.
Would have loved to have any of them.
I'd love another Mercenaries in a newer gen. Last one was 360/PS3, right? This and also Black. The environment destruction was nice.
Think of the amount of destruction you could cause with modern generation tech.
Phantasy Star 4...PSO is fucking amazing. It's so basic but soooo fun.
PSO was great, but it was no Phantasy Star 4 sequel.
Phantasy Star 4...It's like the main series finally found its footing. The first three had issues - mostly just feeling dated among Square and Enix - but then IV was one of the best 16-bit RPGs.
PSO was great, but it was no Phantasy Star 4 sequel.
Golden Sun: Dark Dawn could've been a great game in retrospect, but with that massive cliffhanger, it's kinda brought down a lot.
This and also Black. The environment destruction was nice.Black has spiritual successor, Bodycount.
Skies of Arcadia
I honestly wouldn't mind a GS sequel reboot that ignores the events of Dark DawnI would take that as well. GS needs to be modernized anyway.
:/
