I wish other animal themed superheroes had rogue's galleries like that.

No its true enemy is the Rhino. They're constantly spearing spiders on their horns in Africa

Goblins, the spider's greatest enemy.

Sentient blobs of goo from outer space, also. Rhinos are also naturally aggressive to spiders. And electricity.

It's cause eight arms / eight legs.

Also, because The Spider's Web (1938), a cited influence on the creation of Spider-Man, had the Spider battling a criminal called the Octopus.

They've tried to make that some kind of significant spiritual thing before. Something about "totems".

The Spider was created to capitalize on the success of the Shadow.

Since Batman was inspired by the Shadow, and Spider-Man was inspired by another character who was inspired by the Shadow, that means that Batman and Spider-Man are uncle and nephew respectively.

To be fair, a fishbowl could be a lethal trap if a spider is unable to cling to the inside walls or if it's full of water and they drown.

It makes me wonder why there isn't a Tubman for Spider-Man to fight.

What's the explanation for Kingpin and Big Wheel?
Venom as a bio-agent is a predator for a spider, and not something a spider produces?

Someone else mentioned sandman.

Pretty sure Vultures don't eat spiders, even big ones.

Magicians like Mysterio might step on spiders, but they aren't out there hunting them for prey... or is Penn Jillette taking the desert bus to feast on tarantulas?

I went to a zoo to see the rhinos once but they were like "sorry the rhino exhibit is closed" and I was like "what why" and they said "listen some spiders made it in and the rhinos decided this cannot stand"

So it checks out.
