Holy shit, that really sucks to hear. Dragon Quest - well, Dragon Warrior, but same difference - was one of my first RPGs, and Dragon Ball Z - if the username didn't give it away - had a major effect on my early teenage years.

A subdural hematoma is most certainly NOT a blood clot. It's a bleed in between the dural and arachnoid membranes within the brain.

I just wonder if he suffered a traumatic injury to the brain or if it was a spontaneous intracranial hemorrhage. RIP to legend.

RIP to a legendary creator. A man who, just by trying to create fun stories, gave the world something a little deeper than perhaps he intended.

He opened many to the world of animation and reminded adults that they didn't have to stop loving what they loved just because of the passage of time. I raise my hands to give him a little bit of my energy in the great beyond.

This is not what I expected and is tragic.

What i do wonder is what happens to his other ongoing projects like Dragon Ball Super and the upcoming Dragon Quest games. If it is like Berserk, either someone has a script for if something happened to him or he has someone who can take his place easily. Dragon Quest may be a bit difficult depending how far along 12 is in.

We wouldn't have a lot of anime or even games without his work influencing others.
