But no really FF6 is the best. But 4 is still great

For 4, however my memories of this come from my (now departed) mom. At the time when I was playing this, she came into the room and was like what is that music, it is really pretty. She asked me to just sit there and let it play for a while.

Sure, there are aspects that are definitely dated with the game, but considering how well the music has held up over 30 years, and how when playing it back in the day, how crazy in a quality jump the music was from FF1 and NES era stuff to this. My folks certainly werent expecting video game music to be at the quality it was at that time.

Spicy take picking the SNES version here since Ys fans will go to war about which version of the ost they prefer for Ys 3, lol. They are all damn good, but I came up with the SNES one so it's searing struggle is the one I remember most. PC-engine version is probably the all-around best though.
