I've read this episode was a steaming load of both-sides crap regarding Biden and Trump.Just watch CNN if you want to see Biden get his dick sucked
Ugh.

https://youtu.be/NpBPm0b9deQ?si=kT7gyeJwuszW6VgTNice. He hasn't lost a step.
YES!! I'm so happy Stewart went after Biden because he fucking needs to be called out yes his age is an issue, yes his stance on supporting Israel's genocide is an issue! just because he's up against a fascist doesn't mean these are not issues.
^This. It's not about pretending Biden is perfect (he's not, of course). It's about not losing sight of the enormous difference between Biden and Trump.Yeah I have to agree and I'm disappointed in Jon
Minimizing that difference is an example of the Great Both Sides Lie
I am a fan of Biden but even I have to admit that I wish someone else was running instead of him. The guy is too old to be running the country effectively. If it comes down to him vs. Trump of course I'm gonna vote for Biden but damn we really need a younger candidate.
It was kinda funny how Jordan Klepper sort of called him out for both-siderism later in the show, even if it was part of a bit.I think he was just making fun of fans who did criticize Stewart for both-siderism (see: this topic)

This election season is really showing that people including supposedly college educated people have zero to negative political instincts.do you know why he's winning primaries with that %?
You don't give up incumbent advantage and Biden is more popular than what polling says. He shouldn't be winning primaries by 80%~96% if he was unpopular. If it was mid 50s or 60s, then it would be different. People say we need a younger candidate, no one voted for them. I mean winning a primary by write in, in NH of all places...
Jon Stewart is no different than the rest of the media this news cycle: constantly throw shit against the wall on Biden and desperately see what sticks.
Blame primary voters back in 2020.Probably wont even bother to vote and even know what a primary voter is.

It was fantastic and it's funny to see people criticize Jon for doing what he's always done. This is Jon Stewart. I feel like people got way too used to hosts that just affirm everything they believe.

Was looking forward to this the last few days and just killing time all day today waiting for this. I was an avid watcher when he previously hosted. Dropped it afterwards. Caught Noah a few times and he was alright but it wasnt the same. Its been a shitshow after Noah with the guest hosts the times I tuned in. Hasnt even been on the air in recent months.Stewart returning underscores how fucking bad it would be if Trump were to be allowed to return to the presidency.
I never thought Stewart would ever do it again so Ill take just Mondays for the time it lasts. I agree this is a great return. Makes me smile having him back. Im hoping maybe some guest surprise appearances in the future from Colbert and Oliver. That might be too wishful though.

Doesn't matter, some people have this idiotic idea that if you're critical of the Democrats that automatically makes you as bad as maga.Don't get upset when you struggle with basic concepts like harm reduction
