yeah, im in LA, too. SFV. im glad it was a short one, felt like it was gonna go for a while. Ive lived in SoCal my whole life and im 31, probably the strongest quake Ive felt. technically, i was alive for the Northridge earthquake but i was less than a year old.Yeah, most of the strong quakes we've had in the last 30 years haven't had their epicenter near LA, so it hasn't been as noticeable. There have been several that have surpassed a 6.0 magnitude though. The biggest one was the one that hit Mexico in 2010. It was a 7.2 at the epicenter and was felt all the way up to Central California and Southern Nevada.
