Don't know it's worth it to shoot in the head or not.

Also there is these goats that apparently have no reward?

if you destroy all the goats you unlock something after the game is done

All of the more recent RE games have these little breakable collectibles. They don't actually unlock anything in RE8, but they give you a bunch of points to spend in the rewards shop.

It's how you unlock stuff like infinite ammo weapons and the like.

This game isn't as linear as you're thinking though, I'm almost certain you can go back and get the one you missed.

Alright, first 3 hours went by quick. Ethan has already lost fingers, ugh I hate mutilation but its a Resident Evil game so I will expect lots of that. I felt bad years ago when I first watched the trailer and saw Ethans wife get murdered by Chris. Less bothered after she kept bitching at Ethan. But knowing this game she might come back as a vampire or something *shrug*

Already have upgraded the power of my Shotgun and Pistol and one vampire daughter is down.

Man this game is looks great and is really well optimized. I can run it at 1440p and had amazing frame rate @120fps+ which I kept up the whole time but the GPU was running at 90%, might drop it one resolution.

You liking it? I think the game had hooked me by this point. It was one of my favourites of the year it released (I forget which year it was now, but I remember thinking that back then).
I'm enjoying it. I wouldn't say hooked but it's still been a good game so far.
