When you only have one life to live and then your consciousness is erased from existence, it seems pretty weak to off yourself for chronic fatigue of all things.
In addition to severe fatigue, symptoms include light sensitivity, headache, muscle and joint pain, difficulty concentrating, mood swings, and depression.
I dunno what the poll is asking but I definitely do not want someone else deciding I should be euthanized.

The medical community isnt sure that chronic fatigue syndrome is even real.
obviously not any sad person should be able to just ask for it,Why not tho?
the medical community's outdated refusal to de-stigmatize euthanasia is revolting.
rather than have a bunch of people unalive themselves in gruesome ways, why can't we just have death doulas or something to ease people into it safely and painlessly
rather than let people turn into shells from Alzheimer's or cancer, why can't doctors just ease their suffering? it's stupid and backwards.
obviously not any sad person should be able to just ask for it, but it really should be easier than it currently is (which is basically impossible in the U.S.)
I'm honestly surprised by the pro-euthenasia side of this debate. It's like some people have never heard of psychotic episode, treatable mental illness, or cognitive behavioral therapy.Has anyone been euthanized because they have a treatable depressive episode? Do you think we'll have doctors euthanizing patients who broke their arm?
In other words, oftentimes, but not every single time, suicidal people are caught up in their emotions, not thinking clearly, and forgotten who they are.
Euthanasia on demand is a bad idea, because in many situations those awful feelings will pass.
Furthermore, a lot of people who are suicidal are actually just crying for help.
While I definitely agree with assisted suicide, where do you draw the line between suicide because of depression vs chronic pain? If the illness is treatable, should it be allowed still? Bodily autonomy says yes, but then why do people who attempt suicide get locked up?It shouldnt even require an illness or anything.

But looking up the condition it seems like something I dont think anyone would want to live with for life.

Yes, people should be able to make that decision for themselves. I'd imagine with the amount of time that it takes to set up, if it was just suicidal ideations from depression, they'd have time to back out. Or at least that would be my hope, that they catch those cases and don't actually move forward.
