It's been awhile since I've played but the rogue-lite aspect and combat is pretty good and fun. The basebuilding and management aspect probably needs some more work and quality of life improvements. I'll play again once this update is available.

It's a really fun, short, chill rogue-lite game with an animal crossing village aspect to it. If you can get it for ~$15, you'll have a great time.

it's a lot lighter on the combat and dungeon aspect, which is what makes it short. i went in thinking it might be similar to Binding of Isaac but no way, it's like 2% of BoI. the rest is all the village management, which in itself is fun and cute but not strong enough to have lasting or sticking power.

the fact that the updates seem to focus on the village management is kinda disappointing but i guess it makes sense considering the overall view of the game as a whole.

Disclaimer: There's a good chance the above post could be sarcasm.

Thats what the egg was

Anyway, looked cool I wonder what all the combat shown was and if there will be a new area or something.

Been looking for a reason to play this again, maxed out my village and church upgrades etc, then lost interest

You pretty much played if you like village management you'd probably be disappointed if you wouldn't thinking it was like binding of Isaac. I know that at least post launch they've added two large content updates which is nice.

Ah shit, this just made me remember my immortal villagers with necklaces of longevity.

They were so old and high level their displays bugged out.

I cut the population down just to the point to have access to all areas from its height, get rid of the ones you don't want, then ascend at old age and revive.

I miss those guys now, I used to know all their names and what jobs they were assigned to lol.

This game is pretty good, and worth playing, but it is pretty shallow after a while. I cant imagine this update will get me back into it after I already rolled the credits.
An opinion does not turn into a fact simply because the person holding it feels strongly about it.

Knowing these Devs I guess this update has been in the works for a long time and was gonna release anyway and that RT campaign for adding sex was completely meaningless.
