I mean it's fairly hard to avoid some of those missile explosions and shit. You're bound to get hit one way or another. But man, like most of the difficulty actually came from the fact that I forgot the heal existed. Once I realized, it only took 2 tries, got stunned by rockets in the try after.
After the tutorial, it was a bit shocking how easy the game was overall.
The only other game I played of this style was Daemon x Machina, and honestly? This game is not that much different from DxM lmao. I mean harder and enemies that put up a bit more fight, but it'll depend on the later content I guess. DxM also let you melee a lot more freely, and it kinda felt a bit better to get up close. But of course most of the smaller stuff is significantly better in AC6, and the graphics obviously far better. But even the storytelling is super similar. You get introduced to like 3 faction of mercs with colorful characters. But most of the dialogue is cryptic nonsense
Also another thought was that to this day, the best mech controls was still that of Xenoblade X. For me, I don't need fluid controls, I just want something that feels like I'm controlling a machine. When navigating with the XCX controls and doing tricky manuevers through the landscape, it feels a lot more satisfying because my control is a bit more rigid, but it never punishes you for wanting to fly however the hell you want. Fuel is fairly liberally usable anyways
