I havent played Madden in years. I wonder if it still sucks. I used to buy that shit at midnight on release back in the day.

I enjoyed Madden 23.

Outside of that I haven't played Madden since my 7 year deep Madden 25/NCAA 14 franchises had a save corruption glitch. I was tracking all my players from NCAA into Madden. It killed me when that save died haha.

I dont play, but it is fucked up that they didn't put any effort in making the tribute year to Madden himself, better than trash

I heard the game the year he was honored after death, was the worst one in series history

Why should I be excited? Is that some expansion for Baldur's Gate 3? A bit early for that.

I bought them every year from 1998 - 2011

I had my fun with them but they don't really do anything for me anymore. I did buy the two games with Mahomes on the cover but that was more for personal vindication as a Chiefs lifer than a desire to actually get back into the series.

I don't know why but I just haven't been hardcore into sports games for about a decade after playing them primarily for about 20 years prior.

What team do I do a franchise with now, the Jets aren't horrendous anymore so they're no longer the default rebuild team

I always get the urge to buy it but if I don't buy it release week I don't buy it ever. Last madden I bought was the one with Gronk on the cover.

Madden hasnt been good in 20 years. Thankfully a better football game comes out next year, if EA doesnt find a way to fuck it up like they did with NCAA 12.

My guess is, if you want to see what hes gonna say, just watch last years video. Watching a guy my age scream and yell for an hour over talking points that take a matter of minutes when its the same shit every year seems to me a pointless exercise.

I did like how NCAA felt more like a legitimate rpg where you had to call and convince recruits among other things whereas in Madden you'd just dump exp into your best skills so w/e.

EA was so shook of that game's success they had to go over them to pay the NFL off. Probably one of the biggest video game competition related stomps of all-time.

The most fun was to find some terrible team like North Texas and see how quickly you could make them a national champ. I had a very specific method of recruiting that usually got me there in 3-4 seasons
