They just confirmed PVP will be shown

Hoping for a Ranked Matchmaking mode
Can't say I've enjoyed the AC series as much as I was supposed to.
Great concept, but I've never been sold on the setting, a lot of the extensive customisation options just don't seem worth it, and the gameplay always seemed a bit fiddly and (one way or another) over all too soon.
Hearing their next project was going back to AC game was a bit of a 'Peggle 2!' moment for me.
I know others love AC, so good for them getting their kind of game. Not every game has to be for me. But it'll take a lot of high praise and glowing reviews for me to try it before a significant price drop.
3 more days.
Somehow it doesn't feel right. Maybe I just can't believe that August is already almost over.
Pvp is so hype, I can't wait to start making ACs
Planning to main a close range lightweight build, with shotgun and smg on my arms and laser swords on my shoulder bays to swap between. If I can dual wield laser swords then I would have them on both bays. Would fucking love if you can dual wield them but not sure if it's been confirmed. Glad that there are handheld laser swords though rather than just arm mounted ones. Otherwise it would be a laser blade on one shoulder bay and the other shoulder might have a missile pod.
Could you imagine what dual moonlight laserswords will be like? Especially while having access to the two shoulder weapons.
Would be insane lol
I caved and bought it.
When reviews
Idk how AC is after AC2 other than it getting MUCH faster from 4 onward, but is there an actual reason to dual wield the same melee weapon? Does it hit twice per input or let you alternate swings for higher DPS?
#1!

#1!Hell yeah! The future of Armored Core is looking bright now. I hope the game has some iconic Ravens/Lynxs like Nineball and White Glint.

Anyway, I have it preloaded and ready to go for tonight. Gonna order a pizza or something and dive in
Playing it in an hour when I get home
Armored SoulsNah it's Mechiro
I really hope that this makes future Armored core games come more often.I did
I don't believe you can play it until 6 pm eastern launch time, unless you got a physical copy early anyways.
I did
Lucky, I'm jealous. The release time is great imo. Most games don't normally unlock until midnight est, so this is 6 hours early.
This release time sucks. Let us know how good it is? >.>
Is this game on Gamepass? IF yes then yes, else no.I didn't see it on gamepass when I was on there yesterday. Starfield is there though
Beat the first boss. That was actually really hard. It's this your first AC game? They're known for being hard, just in a different way than Souls games
It became easier when I remembered I had estus flasks, lol. Still hard honestly. I assume veterans of the genre will have a breeze.
Game seems very merticulous in a good way, but I also know that I suck at getting as much as you can out of such systems. So far its really good.
Yep, first ever. Then yeah, there's gonna be a lot of trail and error. If you're having a hard time on a mission, then go back and try out some different parts. There's always more than one way to approach things
Can't wait!
I hope this has like a million different customizations that affect combat as Dark Souls has like buildsIt doesn't have "builds" in the traditional RPG sense, but there are a lot of different parts that you can experiment with. The head, core (body), arms, legs, generator, boosters and FCS (targeting system) can all be freely swapped out. Then you have 4 weapon slots (1 in each hand and one on each side of your back) that you can mix and match weapon types with and further functions can be added via "extensions" but I don't know much about those yet, as that's new.
