I recently noticed that the box recommends this as one of the "3 WAYS TO ENJOY!" so I thought what the hell.

It's actually pretty good. I think the box says put it in like 15-30 minutes before eating, but honestly it's best if you go 45-60. The filling becomes almost gummy. I've started eating them as a late night snack

No. It's just weird. And the box has 4 ways to eat them listed.

Wait, what was the fourth way
The desert-type ones like chocolate fudge, yeah. Never tried any that could conceivably be considered breakfast.

I actually prefer the fruit ones for freezing
Yeah, not bad

I noticed that on the box earlier this year or last year and couldn't believe I didn't try it before. I always put Hostess/Little Debbie stuff in the freezer. Only done it with the chocolate fudge so far but I prefer it in the freezer now.

I've tried it once.

Inferior to both toasted and room temperature.
Irregardless, for all intensive purposes, I could care less.

Better than room temp worse than toasted imo

Yes. There are 2 flavors that I buy specifically to freeze and eat: Ice Cream Sundae & Hot Fudge Sundae. Those taste great frozen.

It's pretty good man
i never have, but i don't think i've ever actually bought any of the varieties that would naturally be well-suited for it. in the rare case that i buy poptarts, i mainly stick to frosted strawberry and brown sugar cinnamon, both of which are too good toasted and buttered to consider doing anything else with them.
It don't matter. None of this matters.

Somehow I never considered a buttered poptart.

Hot fudge sundae and cookie dough taste great frozen. S'mores not so much.

My mom used to butter the pop tarts. I still do it once in awhile as a comfort food thing, but tbh it doesn't make a huge difference imo

Ooh I just came up with a fifth way:
Toast two Pop-Tarts, and then put a room temp Pop-Tart in between them

Pop-Tart sandwich
What constitutes as frozen? Putting them in the freezing? What about just putting them in the fridge? Because Ive only eaten them cold from the fridge. Is eating frozen from the freezer any different?

As far as freezing goes, I've found that leaving them in there longer causes the filling to firm up more and I like the texture. It doesn't freeze hard, it just gets chewy/gummy and I imagine the fridge wouldn't get them cold enough to get quite the same texture.

But they probably do get hard if you freeze them too long, idk
I've never eaten a pop-tart, so no.

Hey, someone found yet another way to enjoy them!

I leave them for days on end in the freezer. I actually love eating them like that especially since it's pretty hot here. The box comes with 4 pouches, so back in the day during my pop tart craze I'd eat each a different way during the week. 1 day it would be frozen, another would be toasted, another would be microwaved and lastly eaten raw straight from the pouch.
