I definitely don't remember there ever not being delivery fees.
Not only no delivery fee, but back in the day, Dominos was free if they didnt get it to you in 30 minutes or less (area restrictions applied). That didnt last and it became a discount if they were late. Not sure when that disappeared.
The delivery fees was a GrubHub/DoorDash thing. When pizza delivery businesses saw this, they realized they could get away with it too. Now it's almost $20 cheaper to do carryout for pizza. No fees plus deals for carryout. This is how Little Caesar's got away with $5 for their hot and ready takeout. Even if their pizza wasn't that good, it was cheap and edible.

I definitely don't remember there ever not being delivery fees.Really? Pretty standard for pizza and Chinese.
The fine print says tip drivers because drivers dont keep the delivery fee for themselves, what greedy coporate nonsense is this?
I definitely don't remember there ever not being delivery fees.Me neither, but I never ordered delivery. I did work as a driver though.
