honestly i've seen a handful of moderations lately where even when i agree the poster was being a pill, they got some questionably harsh punishments, or strings of posts deleted that just weren't TOU violations

As your post is pro-right, anti-left we can use it as a litmus test. If it gets modded then being right-wing is modded, if it isn't then it's the pro-terrorism, trolling, etc. part that actually matters.

Granted with the recent school shooting, and how the cops just stood there for an hour and let the shooter do as they please, making a topic supportive of the cops is pretty tone death at best.

And that's giving a lot of benefit of the doubt, something the user in question really didn't have I imagine.

You know, even if you were legitimately entertaining the idea (which I have strong reservations about), the first thing I would do is not use a highly politicised catch phrase like 'Back the Blue' while also trying to argue that the police aren't political.
