Not really self-inserting but judging by what we know of the char's personality. Which is why I asked if the char spoke about the preferences

The preference is she as that's what she's exclusively referred to as ingame. If the game wanted to indicate she can take any pronoun then the game would've shown that. That should be common sense and basic logic.

You know the first question is silly before you even ask it, but you decided to set up ridiculous conditions under the implication that a fictional character won't care. Dishonest.

For the second question, no, there was no dialogue in the game where Mama declared her pronouns for the room. We are instead to take existing contextual clues in the conversation to determine her pronouns.

Y'know, like a real conversation.

Yeah, same. If the writers wanted to the character to take both pronouns, they would've made that clear. As it is, she's only referred to with female pronouns.

A character does not specifically have to say "I do not want to be misgendered" in order for you to understand they don't want to be misgendered.

Furthermore, everyone referring to them as female(Not to mention a feminine name) should tell you that they go by she/her unless specified otherwise. Is there a point in the game where the character objects to being called 'she'?

See, that's an assumption. Basic logic is that the correct way to refer to a fictional character is how the writers and game does it and that anything else is merely an assumption and likely incorrect.

I don't know. I think with a bit of supportive prodding, especially with shared interests, they can turn around. I've seen a number of close-minded individuals who just turn out to be eggs in denial, likely due to conservative environments. They've already got the foundation by enjoying being called both pronouns.

There is no turning around when I completely approve of LBGT people, though. I thought we already got past this argument when I explained my choice of naming?
