Idk, this was why I was curious. I learned that some friends of mine (not fat) go through pint in just one or two sittings so I wanted more perspective

I can't eat ice cream. If it weren't I've cream I think I would probably just scoop a small amount every other day. Maybe follow the recommended serving.

Thank you for the perspective! I like Ben & Jerry's. I tend to keep one pint of Half-Baked and one pint of Chocolate Fudge Brownie on hand.

The way ice cream usually works with me is that I get a bowl, forget about it for a month or two, then remember it, get another bowl, and repeat.

I buy quarts, not pints. Not actually sure how many bowls it works out to, its usually in my freezer for months.

Depends on the flavor. If it's one my kid doesn't like it can last me a week, if it's one we both really enjoy, probably a few days.

Unless it's Hagen-Dazs in which case I'll stretch it out to more than 4 sittings, I'll typically finish a pint in 2-3 sittings.

Ever since I started doing it, there's never been a moment I thought it wasn't worth it to do. Plus, it builds up your appetite for it even more when you spend the first 5 minutes not actually eating any of it. It feels awkward to manually mix at first until it melts a lil and starts giving in to reshaping.
