It happened to me last night. I was sleepwalking and screaming from what I was told. I don't remember any of it, just kinda woke up in the middle of the stairs last night while standing up. It's such a bizarre experience.

I didn't even know humans had those. They're something I have to deal with my birds having occasionally, though it's become quite rare lately.

I used to get them as a PTSD side effect as a kid

I had zero memory of them, I just remember waking up to my dad holding me
Suffering is expecting things to last forever
what if yes, but during the day?
Closest I had was one time I woke up and there was a ghost of an old woman at the end of my bed and I instinctively kicked at her and she flew through the closet doors and disappeared.

I had a rough couple nights sleeping after that. It was real as hell. The apartment was attached to this 100 year old house and the landlord's mother lived there previously before dying so it was even more fucked up.

That's something else, night terrors are just you screaming and crying in your sleep. It's a form of sleepwalking

Yes every couple months but it was a lot more frequently up until a few years ago.

Not that I know of. I'm the only male in my immediate family that has never dealt with sleep terror like my dad or sleep walking like my brother, both happening only in their adolescence.
Hmm...
I get them when I'm extremely stressed, sleep deprived, or occasionally sleeping somewhere new for the first time. Been a few years since I had one.

I can't say I have.
I've had nightmares, but I dont know if they qualify as "Night Terrors". And it's been a long time since I had a nightmare.

Prazosin. It's for blood pressure but a low dose causes pleasant dreams.

No, my aunt used to have them, she had one with babies crawling towards her in bed.

I'm not sure if what happens to me are called night terrors, but sometimes I wake up from an uncomfortable dream or something and I wake up with the fear of certainty that someone is trying to kill me so I freeze in my bed in fear of being noticed while my heart pounds.

It's kind of hard to explain, they're not really nightmares I think. You don't remember what happens, usually from what I've read. I guess it's like you're being possessed.

I used to have sleep paralysis a lot when I was a teenager, but it hasn't happened in years. Never had anything like that. I've never slept walked before

If you've lived with others when they happen, they'll make sure that you know that you had one because it's very unnerving for people to wake up hearing you screaming only to find out you are still asleep.
Hmm...
Not sure what a night terror is, but I've had sleep paralysis more times than I can count. Doesn't really affect me too much, I just keep my eyes closed until I can move.

Sometimes I will have many times in one night, or even have it within a dream and I can't tell if I'm in a dream or awake and that will fuck with me a bit.

As with PPs, Ive had countless episodes of sleep paralysis, which for me usually involves not being able to breathe. So sometimes I have panic attacks, too, where I wake up gulping air and with a pounding heart.

Yeah, its also usually when having nightmares.

They tend to only happen when Im sleeping on my back, and Ill start shaking and making a really odd half assed shrieking moaning sound.

Either I snap out of it by focussing on a specific body part to get my body and brain in sync, or my gf pokes the shit out of me.

I don't know what it is about sleeping on the back. I pretty much always only get sleep paralysis when I'm on my back.
