Apparently for some people, facts are the only thing they find hard to swallow....
If someone does the ground work (starting a petition, something like that) I'll post the shit out of it. Get it out as much as I can. People did it with the 'Beach body ready' adverts. We can do it with this!
Is it really necessary for a company or foundation to respond to every criticism on the internet? Responding to stuff like this seems like a waste of time and energy.
Society viewing fatness as a negative thing is a thing that kills more than the cancer that you MIGHT get
DIETING has been proved TIME AND TIME again to be one of the worst thing you can do to your body

xfd is this lady serious?
I love that there is a poster on there who made this tweet:
I have to pass it three times on my journey to and from work and one of them is a house-sized billboard. I'm stopping ANY support of @CRUK_Policy until they quit shaming me.
It's even better when their Twitter handle is Beyond Chocolate .
Maybe some fat people deserve a little shaming now and then.
Step 1. Get them out of my health insurance pool.

it's not like this would prevent them from driving the costs of health care up, though
If there is one thing fat women, at it almost always seems to be women, hate (aside from salad?) It's the suggestion that maybe being a colossal fat ass is bad for you.
She's just another symptom of a culture where people don't take responsibility for their actions and want to feel like victims instead of making hard changes. These fat advocates are far from the only group to do this, but they're easily the most laughable.

I don't get them being so personally invested in being fat too

I don't know, man.
I've been obese and I'm still overweight, but at least I'm working on it. I was 230lbs last May and I've gotten down to about 185lbs lately. I lost 45lbs in 9 months through changing what and how much I eat and some light exercise two or three days a week, so I don't really buy this nonsense about it being so hard to lose weight.
I can't understand why they're tying up so much of their identity in being fat that they get so upset when a cancer research center points out that maybe it isn't super healthy to be obese.
