This. People are saying, "she's a comedian." But she wasn't hired as a comedian for that performance. In fact, I remember it being a pretty big deal at the time because people felt she just came out and shit all over the national anthem from out of nowhere. That stunt and her marriage to Tom Arnold is really what turned the public against her in the 90s.
