Did your parents ever play video games with you?

Father had 0 interest in games, but my mother played with us every so often.
Back in 1987 (I was 4) when my dad got me an NES he meant to use it as a bonding tool. I'm not even sure if I knew what a video game was at the time. Anyway his idea never came to pass as he merely watched me play (sometimes) rather than join in.

A few years later my mom would occasionally join me in an SNES puzzle game.

When the Wii first hit my dad, uncle and aunt would play with me a few times. Mostly Wii Sports. Interesting experience teaching them.
Yeah. My mom actually was the one who got me into gaming (she had a Super Nintendo with Donkey Kong Country, Pole Position, Ms. Pac-Man, and Street Fighter 2). My dad would play Wii Sports with me every now and then.
never. they don't even know how to operate a computer
not that I can remember. they have watched me play but I dont think they ever picked up a controller. my older brother did though.
Yes, periodically throughout my childhood with my dad. One of the games we played the most was the older Star Wars Battlefront II-- where we easily put in several hundred hours together over a couple summers.

The next game we played the most was probably Star Wars: Masters of Ters Ksi. I had honestly forgotten this game existed if not for this thread lol

Edit: my dad would also play Rock Band 1, 2 and 3 occasionally. He'd either sing or drum.
I'll say yes, but it was very rare. My parents were big fans of SNES type games (my dad loved the DKC games in particular), but they didn't play much after that. The exception, weirdly, is this one motocross game called Freekstyle that my mom loved to play.

So? I deeded to some gay porn. It doesn't mean anything. - Patty_Fleur
No.

Apparently before I was born, my mother would play Super Mario Bros and was the first person in the house to beat it. Then she swore off video games forever because she didn't get any housework done.

They also say my dad used to play Duck Hunt a bit.

But by the time I was born they were old fogies who wouldn't touch the shit. The most interaction I ever had was my dad watching me play MGS one time because he thought Snake was a cool dude and GTA III cause he thought it was funny.
my mom played mario kart 64 with me once, she drove straight into the ocean and never played another game with me again

My mom was a fan of the original Sonic the Hedgehog.
I used the knife. I saved a child. I won a war. God forgive me.
When I was little I would play Contra on the original Nintendo with my dad, I sucked though and we never made it past the first level because I dragged him down smh
