Would you give a ride to a homeless person? Or would you turn them down for fear that they might shoot you?

This literally just happened to me a few hours ago. I was parked outside Chick-fil-A eating breakfast in my car. And a woman walked up to my window. She says that she's homeless, just got out of the hospital, has a messed up foot, and needs to go 3 blocks away. She asks me for a ride. She had a hospital bag with her and looked like she was high on drugs. She was probably in her 40s. I told her no. I couldn't give her a ride. Because it seemed too fishy to me. She could've had a gun and tried to rob me and steal my car. I felt kinda bad about it later. But what could I do? It would've been a huge risk to my safety. What would you guys have done?
Fuck no. No strangers are ever getting in my car.

i would not do this for any man or woman regardless of nationality
yeah and then next minute shes leading you to an ambush where three guys are waiting to jack your car and take everything you have. You did the right thing TC, GTA has taught me well.
I'd order hey an Uber/Lyft, if it was important

Done it on multiple occasions for both men and women

Is it a risk? Maybe but if youre going to turn your back on your fellow man out of fear then youre already living like a victim
As a MGTOW, I would of course turn her down, but would help a homeless man. J/K, I'm not a MGTOW.

Even if she was hot, i wouldn't do it tbh
I'd have done it, but then again, I'm not nearly as concerned for my safety as you appear to be.
Hell no. I haven't given any strangers rides, though I was with a friend once where we gave a ride to a few girls that said they were far from home and didn't have any other way to get there since it was 1am. After we dropped them off, we both said we were pretty sure we were going to get murdered.

Depends if she looked legit or not? I've given rides before to homeless folk and I've denied a few too.

It's annoying when they recognize you can try to be multiple rides later on.

id call the cops for her
bums will tell you anything to get something off you

don't ever trust any of them
yeah, some of them might be legit, but the worst ones have ruined it for everyone
im a good person
They'll have to submit themselves to a frisking before I'll let them ride as I've heard of things like that happening. Even then I'd still be likely to refuse.
Hmm...
If she looked like a totally normal person who simply needed help then maybe . But if I had any inkling that they might be a druggie, no way, wouldn't even consider it.

No, and I say that as someone who is likely to end up homeless myself.

I wouldn't trust any of you people anymore than you would trust me in that situation, as odds are just as likely that the "kind soul" is the psychopath waiting to pounce instead.

Fuck no lol
I've been asked in the past, and have always said no. This is coming from a social work student, as well. Self-care/safety goes above client/etc safety, always.
