world was amazing but far too easy
The man can fly across 90% of the stages, has a flying stomp, can spin jump fly in attack mode, has a hard spin jump that allows him to bounce off even the unhurtable by stomp enemies, he has Yoshi to eat enemies, get power ups through eating colored turtles such as stomping and fire breathing, and counts as yet another hit Mario can take, speaking of Mario also has an extra feather/flower/mushroom slot for when he gets hurt, and there are millions of power up refills all over the stages

Add all that to the tightest controls marios ever had and you have one cheap plumber. Doesn't help that the stages and enemies themselves are far less threatening then ever, even the music is peaceful and happy go lucky

Even in the cutscenes Mario is destroying the castles with kicks, stomps and golf swings

It's like going through all the hardships of the last few worlds in Mario 3 powered him up just like goku having to suffer terribly against freeza to ascend to Ssj, while Mario 1 through 3 was like frodo scraping his way to mordor, Mario seems to be on vacation in Mario world, cruising through a world that doesn't even seem conquered by bowser and his minions, and rather Mario is conquering them and wrecking their houses

if you finish the 2nd ghost house the alt way you have a level where you can stock up on yoshi feathers and flowers and lives as many times as you want

And if you re ever in trouble or out of power ups you can just exit the stage and go full up lmao

Mario has the world at his fingertips in world, it should ve been called king mario
it was just obviously made to cater to younger players then 3 and did it by overpowering the s*** outta Mario. Super Mario world Mario would be more challenged by Mario 3 but with all his moves and power ups he'd still steam roll through

I see no reason to pick one over the other. I grew up with World so I definitely played it more, but Bros 3 is a fine game too.
