Well it's more or less disregarding the last three movies, so it's basically doing for Terminator what Prometheus and Covenant did for the Alien franchise.

It stopped at t2 for me . That last one was just horrible. The girl playing Sara was horrible. Linda Hamilton or the lady to played her on the TV show. I can believe them being hot bad as ladies . But this chick from the last one... a whole lot of nope.

I've liked some of the stuff that came after T2 but like others I count T2 as the end of the series. Nothing that came after counts. James Cameron's involved again but not as the director so they may have something be a worthy sequel. Doubtful but I'd check it out anyway.
Trying is the first step towards failure, so just dont give it a shot and you cant dissapoint.
