Rikku annoyed me in FFX. Don't understand the hype behind her besides her FFX-2 outfit.

Never played anything besides FFX HD and FFXV, though, so I can't really say for sure how much I like any of the others, but Yuffie's cool in Kingdom Hearts. So...eh.

Eh, not in my case. I'm 33 and primarily grew up on the SNES Final Fantasy games.

I voted Rikku because she's the only one of those 4 that I actually liked. (I'm neutral to Penelo and hate Selphie & Yuffie.)

Yeah I always wondered why the same company decided to use the same name in games that were released just a year apart from each other and were probably side by side in development time. Are they also the same name in Japanese? Pronounced differently maybe?

Yuffie and Penelo are the least obnoxious. Penelo actually has a really good head on her shoulders and doesn't behave like any of these characters. Even if she only stuck around to put Vaan in his place, she's better than the other two on headache potential alone, and I've still not forgiven Yuffie for that mess at Wutai.

Anyways, Rikku by far. I literally can't even remember which of the completely forgettable characters Penelo was in FF12. Yuffie and Selphie were just annoying and I avoided using either one whenever I could. Rikku was awesome, though, and her overdrive was so good it basically turned a few boss fights into "cutscene -> overdrive -> cutscene -> continue story". XD

Selphie is my favorite character in the FF series.

She used to be my favorite character in all of gaming, but she's fallen a fair but over time. Still love her though.
