Depends what you want.

Louisiana and Tennessee are both great places to visit.
Texas, Florida, and NC are the best to live in.

There's some shitty parts down in south alabama yeah. But it is cheap to live here. I hated living in Mississippi though but that was only a year

Kevin Sumlin (A&M's Head coach) gets paid 5 mil a year. Charlie Strong was making 5.2 mil a year. For reference, Jason Garrett gets 6 mil, and Bill O'Brien gets 5mil. So yeah no one gives a shit in Texas about NCAA football lol.

Id vote Alabama for its northern bits, its actually pretty nice looking, and the natural limestone rock walls are pretty dang cool. A perfect place for Geology fanatics though I hate their over zealous Bama fans though

Florida is just chill with its beaches and nice fishing spots. and its...weirdness. I havent been too far into the state beyond Tallahasse, but its mostly forests and lakes, nothing too impressive, at least the rains nice (or a pain)

Louisiana just for New Orleans alone, it obviously my hometown. dunno why, but New Orleans gives me a eerie, dark vibe ever since i left the place. Fantastic place for fishing and seafood and other outdoor sports. It just gets humid as heck

Mississippi is...boring, nothing but ghost town cities and hills

I drive through Huntsville to the different schools to do work on their computers for a living, and the mountainous parts of it are gorgeous. The limestone is incredible. That is where all of the rich people live in Huntsville.
