If you are in a debate are you big enough to acknowledge someone's post as a valid point if they back it up with facts and sources even though it's counter to your argument no matter the poster's posting history?

Or do you resort to accusation of being a socket puppet or other insults because you can't acknowledge the poster was right and you were wrong or it challenged your world view?

Yeah, I don't care about past history necessarily, and I hope that if I'm ever wrong that I concede to anything I may have been unaware of, that's part of learning and growth.

Yeah. This is what I was thinking of. I mean nothing wrong with some light ribbing. But especially when threads are going well and people resort to those kind of tactics it's disparaging and makes debating here an annoyance.
