When I try to use them it says the coupon has already been used. At first this made some sense but its been doing this for awhile now and on different value coupons. wtf

At least it tells me this at the very beginning instead of waiting until a Im at checkout

I haven't even bothered when they send me free coupons, since I hate making accounts/signing up for shit. It's insane to me that people pay for this, and in some cases do it often, given how expensive takeout already is. I also hate how they ruin the restaurant experience for people who don't use them, because you might go in to one and think it's not busy, but then you end up caught behind a bunch of mobile orders for 20 minutes
Nope

I don't want some stranger eating my fries.

I don't use the doordash app or anything, but I do get delivery by them cuz the walmart outsources to them

I've used my sister's Instacart a few times back before I had a license when it was too hot to walk to the store but other than that no. Those apps are money sinks.

God no, I don't need to pay exorbitant delivery fees for some random dude to handle my food. In fact, I will pick up my own food just to have an excuse to get out of the house. I've always been introverted, but I've never understood being a total shut-in.
I think I have Grubhub+ through Amazon Prime and Doordash+ through a credit card. With the + bonuses the cost for food delivery is about the same if not less than getting it directly from the store, and that includes tip.

There is a very strong chance that I will be dead before I ever use an app to order delivery food.

I've spent the last 50(ish) years barely ordering delivery as-is. About the only food I've ever ordered to my house is my local pizza place - pretty much everything else I order for takeout I just drive to the place or I don't order at all. And I don't like using apps for anything - doubly so ordering food delivered by random strangers. I barely like random strangers making my food.

If using an app to order takeout became more or less mandatory, I'd probably just stop ordering delivery entirely.

That suddenly reminds me of when I was in high school, and my friend's girlfriend tried to eat some of my fries at lunch. And then I slapped her hand away and told her "Look, you're not fucking me , you don't get to steal my food."

Ironically, it turned out later that I might have been one of the few people she wasn't fucking. I might have been able to parlay a few fries for a blowjob or something. Curse my hungry metabolism!

I'm a manager at a major chain grocery store. I was talking to the manager of the online shopping service and someone ordered a pound of strawberries and yogurt once. The customer paid twice as much to walk in and have it ready instead of walking in and buying it themselves.

Honestly I don't like driving. If the restaurants were in walking distance I would walk to them.

I have app for both DoorDash and grub hub but never use them. I prefer using the website for some reason.

Im about to kick grub hub to the curve. Their drivers seem very lazy, foreign and dont understand how to use a call box.

Damn, I would have assumed a fifty percent increase, but a hundred?
You do have to shop for deals as well. To be fair not every restaurant is about the cost of getting delivery from the store.

2 item orders get charge the maximum fee while larger orders get a highly discounted rate. It's a sliding scale, the more you order online the less you pay for someone else to do your shopping.

I use Grab to order food basically every day. Often multiple times per day.
