I have never seen a movie with more blatant plot armor. Like the scene where the girl is getting the life raft and the t rex is just napping the whole time. Then when he finally wakes up and sees them, he decides he needs to chug water from the river for a minute. Then he lackadaisically stomps after them with zero urgency. The whole time instead of thinking 'go faster must go faster' about the people, I was thinking 'you should probably go faster than that' in regards to the dinosaur.

Also I do not at all buy the premise that people would get sick of dinosaurs in twenty years. Like I didn't even get tired of the zoo when I had season passes and they didn't have any dinosaurs. Why does the Jurassic world franchise think that we need fake dinosaurs?

Also I miss Bryce Dallas howard

Yeah, the world movies have been lacking. Had some good ideas here and there, but a lot of bad ones too.

True. I liked world cause it embraced the cheese but then the other two worlds got kinda up their own butts. Lost world would've been ok without the bicycle kick and maybe a little other cringe I'm forgetting. Three was just underwhelming and largely forgettable.

I'd rank this one ahead of world two and three and that's it. Pretty big dropoff from three even to those ones.

Yep, the 1st is a masterpiece and it gets progressively worse from there

Opinon on Lost World? III was stupid. World 1 was okay.

It was by far the worst Jurassic Park movie by a good mile. Even worse than JP3 and JW Fallen Kingdom. Honestly, it was just a re-hash of JP3 but worse. The only good Jurassic Park movie is the first one. After that they abandoned the whole reason for the series in favor of ""Oooh ahh, that's how it always starts. Then later there's running and screaming". The whole entire point of the first movie/book is that man cannot successfully play God, and by attempting to do so will suffer uncontrollable consequences and repercussions. The absolute best scene of the first movie is one that many people just gloss over as a nothing-boring scene. I'm of course talking about the dinner scene with the debate between Malcolm and Hammond.

I do agree that Bryce Dallas Howard was smokin hot in that first JW movie though. That hairstyle, mmmh.

I only like the rampage through San Francisco or whatever. World series leans too heavy on hybrids. Lego Jurassic World series was decent for shits and giggles.

That scene is great, so is the one where the T rexs knock the trailer off the cliff, and the raptors hunting the guys in the tall grass

Jurassic Park was a great movie. The almost World was great too, but I saw it as a kid and havent seen it as an adult.

OG JP is the only truly good movie, and it'd a truly great movie.

3 and World are pretty entertaining.

Lost World is pretty decent until after the "Long Grass" scene, after that its worse than Word or 3.

World 2, World 3 and the newest one are pretty bad.

Ill keep seeing them, just because I like seeing dinos on screen though.
