I just finished a 100% playthrough of A Link Between Worlds

It's been probably 8 years since I've played through it.

It continues to impress me just how awesome of a game that was. It was a true return to form for Nintendo, I remember when it released it had been years since we had a Zelda that wasn't a disappointment.

Solid 10/10 game and easily a top 5 Zelda.

What counts as a 100% for ALBW?

Shame that they haven't done more like it.

I got all the heart pieces, all Maiamais, all bottles, all sword upgrades, finished all the cave challenges, and beat every minigame (especially the Treacherous Tower all the way through).

I'm calling it a 100% run despite the fact that the StreetPass stuff still remains.

I'm okay with not counting Streetpass stuff as part of 100%. Even more so given that it's 2024 and people carrying 3DSs in public are quite rare.

Did you unlock the giant cucco?

Edit: I think you can do most- all?- of the streetpass content without other players.

It was easier than I remembered! I got the heart piece on my third try I think.

I figured out that the key is to get three successful hits in a row, and then you have a shot to hit the bird that flies by, which gives a bonus of 20 rupees. The bird seems to be a guaranteed hit as long as you actually hit the ball.

Hitting one of the crab things at about the half way point through the game helps immensely too since that restores all the rupee jars back.

I need to play that again sometime
