Well a show can be good and have a bunch of bad episodes and vice versa. So far Ive seen one. Some weird vr game thing with a weird guy, I'd say it was alright. Got me curious to see how the rest of the show is.
Even if I end up loving the show I doubt I'll stop saying those dumb jokes.

I've been curious about the show as well.
There are more than two genders, try to change my mind
I think it is great, some episodes are better than others of course. Many are pretty depressing. The one you watched I think is one of the weaker ones, but I still liked it.
Yeah its definitely a mixed bag. I generally think of the episodes as individual entities instead of a show as a whole because there is definitely a lot of variation in the quality of episodes.
But some are definitely great.

It's either goodly bad or badly good. >_> tbh, I've watched two episodes so far, one was pretty good except for a hokey ending ("Black Museum") while the other had a cool premise and some neat ideas but was somewhat mediocre (the Star Trek parody)

The first episode is the worst in my opinion and turns many people off on the series.
Really should skip it. The second episode is much better, but I almost didn't see it. Many other good episodes in the series. Not all are good, but a few are great and it's totally worth watching.

I've never got why anthology shows begin with one of their weakest episodes. It's just stupid.

I didn't really like it, I watched the first season.
They come up with a premise and try and make everything go as badly as possible regardless of whether it makes a lot of sense or not, or is consistent in theme with other episodes. So it's like Final Destination with Facebook instead of brutal death.
I can see why some people might like it but I didnt find it that engaging, at least not consistently. The Star Trek episode I watched first was what got me interested, and that one was really fun.

The second episode of the first season was definitely the one that actually felt the most intelligent to me, and was the best of the first season episodes. I enjoyed the Star Trek episode I watched more though.

It seems somewhere in the middle based on what little Ive seen. Id probably say its decent overall.
Also, I dont get the hate for the first episode. I think its easily the best of what Ive seen. (And White Bear isnt that great)

Only watched the first episode of the first Netflix season (3?), Nosedive. It was pretty good. Just really haven't got around to watching any other ones.

I've been a fan since 2011 or 2012 when it first started. It had a bit of a cult following then. It was so good that I was initially scared when Netflix got a hold of it. The new episodes that I watched were very worthy of its mantle, however. Haven't seen them all.
I thought the VR episode was good but not the best out of the new ones.
The pig episode is the least Black Mirror episode ever, don't know why the show started with it.

One of the most powerful and relevant shows in recent memory.
Sure, some episodes are better than others, but the ones that are good, tap into something no other show ever has. Definitely worth a watch.

Im not really one to get disturbed by stuff. The only time I shove it in anyones face is with one of my friends thats real squeamish. We were watching the Fly remake while eating curry and when Jeff Goldbutts face was melting I would say MAN I love eating this warm, mushy food, chunky too. Okay that time I'll admit I went too far but I still think it was funny

The only thing that'll keep me from watching the show is bad writing. I would say effects but damn that space episode looked pretty good. I think it was a later season but still.

It's a mixed bag. There are some good episodes. The first one is the worst one in my opinion, so take that into consideration.
I saw two episodes. One was the one where everyone pedaled on exercise bikes to earn money to spend on Miis. The other was the one where everyone had chips in their brains to record what they see and hear.
Both were kinda interesting and/or depressing, but slow as fuck. I might watch more eventually.
I think the "Twilight Zone" comparison is accurate, though I don't really agree with the ADD part. I feel most people with ADD or ADHD (like myself) would be bored with a lot of the slower bits.

8.9 overall on imdb, that's a very high rating when it comes to TV.
The National Anthem is admittedly a weird episode for a series premiere but the episodes that follow are almost unanimously incredible. theres only one weak one "The Waldo Moment"
my personal favs:
Shut Up & Dance
White Bear
White Christmas
Hang the DJ
a ton of people's favourite is San Junipero. it's really good, but it's a little bit of a... different vibe than every other episode.
8.9 overall on imdb, that's a very high rating when it comes to TV.

Saw the first episode and 15 Million merits and both were so bad that I just don't see myself even trying to watch another episode. All my friends love the show though.
