I've been ordering clothes online more nowadays so I can only assume/hope being from a warehouse that said clothes haven't been tried on by anyone.

It depends.
I don't wash coats or jackets because it may damage them.
I do wash clothes I wear in the inside but I don't wash sweaters which I wear on the outside as that washing sweaters will reduce its capability to keep you warm. Basically, if you wash a sweater too many times, your sweater will stop keeping you warm.
