It seems the stuff actors do on screen for money can be very different from real sex lives and that looking at porn can cause distorted views of sex.

This is the same thought process that playing too much video games will make you go on a murdering spree. That simply isn't the case.

This is the same thought process that playing too much video games will make you go on a murdering spree. That simply isn't the case. Porn is just a form of media and isn't 'real'. It's no different to watching other forms of media. If you stop telling the difference between fantasy and reality I think you have more things to be worried about than porn being harmful or not.
Everybody has sex (and they don't need porno to want it), and they'll take their cues from wherever if they don't have personal experience.

probably. Sex is a two way street, and porn is just sheer self indulgence. All you're gaining from it is how to push your own buttons in ways that are unobtainable from normal sexual activity.
Porn is to sex life as junk food is to healthy diet.
