Who gives a LOADED gun as a gift to a YOUNG person? Is it safe to assume that this boy has had no prior experience on handling guns....?

TCs text says that the boy already owned several guns and were experienced with them.
I got no gun experience myself, but I thought that the first thing you do with a gun is to check if it is loaded or not, and dont show it around if it is loaded.

Hair triggers, or very light weight triggers can go off very easily. They are also from what I gather very popular among gun owners, as it makes them easier to shoot. Honestly, triggers below 8 pounds should probably be outlawed to avoid accidents like this. I use a 12 pound trigger myself.
