The thing about corporate work is you're going to get minimum instruction and very little or flat out incorrect data.
You do need to ask questions if things don't make sense, and ultimately, once you are no longer an intern, the success of your work is on you.
My work instructions for the past 10 years has been basically been "This shit is on fire. Fix it."
Yeah it's your responsibility to follow up if you're unsure of the process. They're not going to handhold you.
