This is a misrepresentation because that isn't how energy (or the food in your example) is distributed. The power doesn't only go the the company. Anyone is allowed to purchase the service. The factory would pay to use the power grid, they would employee workers to make products that would be circulated locally. The workers would take home pay that they could use to buy electricity to raise their standard of living.

Instead they destroy the solar panels.

Gotta admit, every single sentence in this post is utterly hilarious. Good show, buddy.
