It's impossible to gauge exactly what the future entails. I'm in a bunch of smaller cap companies and they've been correcting since February/March. Most experts say to slowly accumulate during market dips because in the long run the market always trends upward. You might be down for a while but it always comes back eventually.
People have been calling for a crash basically since the last (real) one in 2007. Maybe it will, but more likely if you got in now it will continue to run long enough that you'd still be in the green after a correction by the time it comes, vs. waiting for it before buying. In any case always keep some cash on hand and buy when it does correct.
