There was a supposed final mural leaked out by some studio in France indicating Isaac, Geno, Chorus Kids, Ken, Banjo, Shadow, and Mach Rider made it in. Next to the mural was promotional material for the Grinch movie.
People lost their shit everywhere since in the beginning, it was denial proof. It was an interesting counterpoint to the Kencineroar+Box Theory combo that everyone kept beating into everyone's heads months beforehand. A lot of insiders were harassed especially when they couldn't debunk it, only giving vague "trust us guys" answers.
As everyone knows by know. Kencineroar were indeed the final two characters for the base roster. Pirhanna Plant was like twisting a dagger in the back for some people.
