The new dj is pretty cool. It's in playlists. Also the enhance feature for playlists you've made is incredible, find it by cycling through shuffle modes. The daily mixes are nice, containing a genre or two and tracks you've liked or listened to coupled with similar tracks. I also do feel Spotify's own curated genre playlists (especially for electronica) are solid ways to discover new and popular songs and artists for that genre.
