PS my advice to men who are still planning to marry and try their luck: get snipped. That way if she ends up pregnant you know she's a cheater who was never worth putting a ring on and you have documented proof that you are physically incapable of producing children. Vasectomies are in the overwhelming majority of cases completely reversible if you ever do find a good woman to start a family with.
YOU DO NOT have to tell them about this procedure as it is protected under HIPAA (in the US) because it does not specifically put them in any sort of harm.
