Wow talk about some potd sensationalist clickbait... it was a suicide. We're blaming guns for people offing themselves now?

it's a shooting at a school. why does a 13 year old have open access to firearm?

Because his parents are terrible.

Also why did he feel the need to kill himself? Isn't that much more of a problem that needs to be address?

Well, you just answered that question yourself. His parents were apparently so terrible that they didn't know he wanted to kill himself or that he had access to a gun. I guess the part about him having access to the gun and bringing it to school isn't much of a problem that needs to be discussed at all.

Do you hear about school shootings in Europe week after week? Any other countries in the world for that matter? Oh, it's because the nut jobs are only here in the United States and nowhere else right? Easy access to guns has nothing to do with anything I suppose.

You say that like America is the only country in the world with access to guns.

If taking guns away solves gun murder, explain Chicago.

You can own a gun legally in Russia. You need to go through several hours (not sure, maybe 30+) of training with the weapon and then you need to pass an exam with a gun instructor. Once completed, you can register the weapon and need to pay a tax on it every year. How many school shootings have you heard about there in the last decade? One?

And are all Russians mentally healthy? Alcoholism, spanorce rates, there are tons of fucking problems in Russia. How many mass shootings from Russian citizens owning a gun have you heard about?
