I played it last year and had a good time with it. I don't have much of a history with visual novel kinds of games. This and VA-11 Hall-A were my first dip into it and I enjoyed them both enough to keep exploring the genre.
Two minor tips come to mind. I hide them just in case. The first is really minor and the second is in the same vein:
Don't worry about the currency. You will have more than you can spend.
Spas are good. You should buy them as soon as you find one.
