I'm gonna go out on a limb & say that the TC is essentially butthurt over the Switch OLED not being the Switch Pro, like so much of the internet had taken for gospel.

As someone who has been waiting to get a Switch, I'm kinda disappointed that the upgrade isn't nearly as significant as I would have hoped, but the hard reality is that "Pro" consoles are a dumb concept anyway. A Pro console effectively does one of two things: The enhancements are overall esoteric, as the support is limited for such a small subset of the system's user base, or it overshadows the earlier model to the point that the upgrade is mostly necessary. Just look at the PS4 Pro, One S, & even the Nintendo DSi; they mostly serve as a midpoint for the proper next gen successors, which weren't very far off.
