I don't believe you know what a veto does. A veto does not stop a bill. A veto causes a bill to require a higher vote count to pass. Even with Trump's veto, there was enough votes to pass the $600 instead of the $2000, so him vetoing it didn't matter. Trump actually red-lined the bill and handed it back, but it was ignored because again, there were enough votes to ignore it.
The president isn't all-powerful. You're free to hate on Trump as much as you want but you should also have at least a
slim understanding of how our government works and what actually happened.
